Osteoarthritis Card

Osteoarthritis CardUsed to assist with the relief of acute and chronic osteo-arthritic pain in any region of the body.

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition involving the loss of mobility through degeneration of the articular surfaces in a range of joints.  The goal of treatment is to restore quality of life rather than reversing the biological processes. The reduction of inflammation has both a corresponding reduction in pain as well as a reduction in the rate of joint integrity.  Rates of success will largely be dictated by the severity or progression of cartilage loss.  Early stage osteoarthritis can respond both rapidly and effectively however dramatic changes in very late stage conditions can be more difficult.

Note: Rheumatoid arthritis is a type of inflammatory arthritis and is quite different from osteoarthritis, as it involves inflammation of the joint tissues, rather than degeneration.  Rheumatoid arthritis has been successfully treated using non-inflammatory modes and we recommend that the Vascular card be used for treatment however suggest that medical advice be sought before doing so.
