Elbow Card

Elbow CardUsed to assist with the relief of elbow pain.

Tennis and golfers elbow are the most common overuse injuries in the elbow. These are injuries to the soft protuberances on either side of the joint and our inability to rest such injuries often results in mild to severe pain for up to three years. Elbow pain may also result from wrist injuries where the median nerve is impinged (as in carpal tunnel syndrome) except it is impinged closer to the upper forearm close to the elbow.

Possible signs and symptoms of elbow/forearm pain:

  • Pain on the inside or outside of the elbow.
  • Pain when gripping or lifting.
  • Pain that may radiate down the forearm and into the hand.
  • Weakness of grip.
  • Overuse of the lower arm as seen in individuals who use computers.

Common conditions suitable for treatment using the Elbow Card include:

  • Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis).
  • Golfers elbow (medial epicondylitis).
  • Pronator teres syndrome.
  • Night pain in the upper arm.
  • Elbow tendonitis.
